Below you will find a variety of online resources to help you get educated about and get involved in the fight for Palestinian liberation, as well as Palestinian businesses to support, and Palestinian people to follow on social media for more and up to date information.
Whether through protest, boycott, sharing of resources, donation, or other means, there is no shortage of ways to help in the fight, across a wide spectrum of ability. There is a place for EVERYONE in the fight!
I'll be updating this post as often as I can to keep it up-to-date and accurate. I'll indicate here when I do!
Also should go without saying, but if people come on here being racist, Islamophobic, anti-semitic, or bigots in general, I will kick them and lock comments.
Here you will find links to resources to help get you up to speed on both the history of Israel's occupation, as well as the current situation.
There are links both to free ebook resources, as well as essays, articles, personal accounts, zines, and books. Take the time to learn about what Palestine and Palestinians are and have been enduring.
DECOLONIZE PALESTINE
https://decolonizepalestine.com/
"Welcome to Decolonize Palestine, a collection of resources for organizers and anyone who wants to learn more about Palestine.
Explore our introductory articles, and learn about the history and origins of the Palestinian question.
Tired of all the propaganda and disinformation on Palestine? Explore our myths database, where you you will find a continuously updated list of some of the most prominent myths and talking-points related to the Palestinian question, as well as their debunking.
Our Palestine FAQ contains answers to the most commonly asked questions regarding the Palestinian question."
Includes articles, reading lists, FAQs, and more.
VERSO BOOKS
"Here we have collated our free ebooks, reading lists and ongoing publishing on the Verso Blog. These resources challenge much of the zionist ideology concerning the origins and identity of the contemporary state of Israel, as well as offering a clear history of the occupation, Israel's military industrial complex, and this latest explosion of violence in Gaza."
Fantastic place to start - both their free ebooks, and their reading list (which you can bring to your library or library app).
The podcast is also very good.
PUBLISHERS FOR PALESTINE
A variety of resources, both free and not. The zines are especially great, as are the ebooks.
I am linking here to the free resources, but going to the main site (cutting off everything after "org" in the link) will open up other resources.
PALESTINIAN YOUTH MOVEMENT: READING LISTS
https://palestinianyouthmovement.com/reading-list
"For over 73 years, our people have faced Zionist ethnic cleansing and for over 73 years we have risen in struggle against it. Even prior to the 1948 Nakba, Palestinians consistently rose up against British imperialism and the Zionist movement, as exemplified in the 1936-9 Arab Revolt. Our history and struggle, therefore, cannot be defined by victimhood. Instead, they are defined by a relentless persistence toward liberation, even under the most brutal colonial conditions.
Today is no exception. In a moment when the word is rising up for Palestinian freedom, we must emphasize that popular uprisings across Palestine are deeply and firmly rooted in our history. For this reason, our recommended reading list offers historical context on Palestine through the prism of popular resistance, which continues to be our main resource in the fight for land, return, and liberation. We include sources in English and Arabic on popular resistance ranging from political histories, interviews, memoirs, poetry, films, and primary documents."
Very well assembled reading list, maybe the more rigorous.
PALESTINIAN SPECFIC READING LIST
https://soniasulaiman.com/readpalestinianspecfic-reading-list/
“The following is a growing reading list for the #ReadPalestinianSpecFic challenge. This is a work in progress to create a list of all available Palestinian speculative fiction.”
As per Sonia: “I think it's not directly an actionable thing, but some folks say that reading sci-fi and fantasy by Palestinians has been a good bridge for them into the movement.”
LIBRARIANS & ARCHIVISTS WITH PALESTINE
https://linktr.ee/librarianswithpalestine
“Librarians and Archivists with Palestine is a network of information workers in solidarity with the Palestinian struggle for self-determination."
One of the more subtle and insidious ways to eradicate a people is through the theft and destruction of their culture and cultural records. Israel has bombed and destroyed most of the universities, libraries, and other institutions of cultural and historical archiving and preservation in Gaza. Israel is attempting to erase Palestine from even historical existence.
Archiving what is being lost, as well as how it is being taken is key to saving and preserving Palestine and her people.

Now that you have a better understanding of things, what can you do to help? Plenty!
There is an action for every level of physical and mental ability/capacity. Below you will find a bunch, but do not limit yourself to these if you have more ideas.
BDS MOVEMENT (Boycott, Divest, Sanction)
The landing page for the movement, with access to all statements made, articles written, and other materials.
"The Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement works to end international support for Israel's oppression of Palestinians and pressure Israel to comply with international law.
Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) is a Palestinian-led movement for freedom, justice and equality. BDS upholds the simple principle that Palestinians are entitled to the same rights as the rest of humanity.
BDS is now a vibrant global movement made up of unions, academic associations, churches and grassroots movements across the world. Since its launch in 2005, BDS is having a major impact and is effectively challenging international support for Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism."
A powerful tool for unarmed resistance and support of Palestine.
Know what to boycott (the boycott campaign page):
https://bdsmovement.net/get-involved/what-to-boycott
"Targeted consumer boycotts are convincing retailers across the world to stop selling products from companies profiting from Israel’s crimes...
Virtually all Israeli companies are complicit to some degree in Israel’s system of occupation and apartheid. We focus our boycotts on a small number of companies and products for maximum impact. We focus on companies that play a clear and direct role in Israel’s crimes and where we think we can have an impact.”
THE BLACK & PALESTINIAN SOLIDARITY ORGANIZING TOOLKIT
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uY3iXptNHc7j8htIx0878lhDcrqrVYv8TP_sRrqBdrg/mobilebasic
“As Israel continues to massacre Palestinians with the full support and funding of the US government, this is a crucial time to take collective action in support of Palestinian liberation. Black people have always been a moral compass, not only fighting for our liberation but for the liberation of oppressed peoples worldwide. At this moment - as our taxpayer dollars are being used to commit genocide in Gaza - we have a duty to fight.
Use this toolkit to learn more about what's happening in Palestine and the history of Black Palestinian solidarity and get support to take action locally. Even (especially) if you have never organized a protest before, we need you to join us at this moment.”

I want to preface this with the acknowledgement that as a non-Palestinian, my thoughts on the following are my opinion and not worth much on the topic. What actually matters is listening to and following the lead of Palestinians fighting for liberation.
Re: the word "ceasefire" as used in relation to the Israeli genocide of the Palestinian people begun in 2023 and continuing into 2024.
Though the technical understanding of said term means a cessation of aggression/violence/action/"fire" on all sides of a conflict, in the case of the Israeli genocide of Palestinians, it has been used to mean "an end to Israeli aggression/siege/violence" against Palestinians and Palestine (people, animals, infrastructure, blockade, etc). This is a loose but understood usage of the term.
I believe a more careful and accurate way to express what is desired is to call for an *end to the genocide*/*an end to Israeli aggression/siege/violence against Palestinians and Palestine*/*an end to Israeli bombardment, siege, destruction, blockade, and annexation of Palestine*/*Palestinian liberation* (or similar, specific demands).
I don't think this is merely a semantic game - those who support the Israeli genocide and settling of Palestine can and do use the wiggle room created by the looser usage to try and suppress Palestinian resistance (while allowing for Israeli violence).
Under international law, occupied people have a right to resist their oppression through both unarmed and armed means, but Israel and its supporters use the gray areas to claim otherwise and continue their oppressor violence. [Not that legality is at all how we should judge ethics or actions.]
Though "ceasefire" is succinct and easy to rally behind, maybe we should consider moving away from it and saying what we mean more specifically?
Again, these are just my own thoughts/opinions and in the fight for liberation do not amount to more than a momentary consideration.
Free Palestine ✊🏾🍉
